She took to her Twitter page late last week to talk about self love and the dangers of hating your shape after some critics sneered that she had lost control of her body.
The former Hannah Montana star then proceeded to post a photograph of a woman so emaciated that her ribs were clearly visible.
Miley added powerfully: 'I love MYSELF & If you could say the same you wouldn't be sitting on your computer trying to hurt others. '
She also posted a photograph of curvaceous blonde bombshell Marilyn Monroe with the caption: 'Proof that you can be adored by thousands of men even when your thighs touch. '
An added bonus: The Climb singer is certain that men love women who aren't all sticks and bones.
'I don't wanna be shaped like a girl. I LOVE being shaped like a WOMAN & trust me ladies your man won't mind either; )#)' she wrote.
